The S.N.A.P. Framework™

Four steps students use in reading, writing and problem-solving.

  1. Stop

    Pause and understand the task or situation.

  2. Notice

    Identify important information, needs, or challenges.

  3. Act

    Choose and apply an appropriate strategy.

  4. Plan

    Reflect and decide what to do next.

Students use the framework during academics, communication, problem-solving and everyday decision-making — including when something goes wrong.

S.N.A.P. Saturday Lab

Third and fourth grade students

A twice-monthly enrichment program for third and fourth graders — reading, writing, environmental science, problem-solving and character development.

Inside the Saturday Lab

Two Saturdays a month. Twelve students. Two and a half hours of reading, writing, environmental science and hands-on work, with lunch in the middle.

$145 a month covers everything — materials, lunch, parent resources and progress updates.

Founder, S.N.A.P. Academy

Dr. Rolingson founded S.N.A.P. Academy and leads its programs. She has more than 20 years of educational experience.

Programs are led by qualified instructors and facilitators. Volunteers may assist under supervision.

Come and hear what the Saturday Lab is, meet the people who run it, and ask whatever you want to ask. This date is tentative until we confirm it. An RSVP tells us to expect you — it is not enrollment and there is nothing to pay.
